Built on top, not forked
Agency OS installs alongside ERPNext. Its own DocTypes, its own fields, its own front end. The app changes nothing in the ERPNext or Frappe core, so updates keep running through.
ERPNext stays the engine room
Client, project, task, timesheet, invoice and subscription are ERPNext records. Agency OS shows them in one interface instead of keeping them a second time.
Open and self-hosted
An open-source Frappe app on your own server. Video calls run over a self-hosted LiveKit server too, not a third-party provider.
Agencies rarely fail at the ERP. They fail in the gaps between tools.

Does Agency OS replace my ERPNext?
No. Agency OS requires ERPNext and installs alongside it. Clients, projects, tasks, hours and invoices stay ERPNext records. The app only builds the interface on top and adds what agencies are missing.
Can my ERPNext still be updated?
Yes. Agency OS changes neither the ERPNext nor the Frappe core; it works with its own DocTypes, additional fields and hooks. Updates keep running through.
What does the client see?
Only the client area at its own address, and there only what you explicitly release. Without a release nothing is visible. The team cockpit stays closed to clients.
Where do the video calls run?
On a LiveKit server you run yourself. Agency OS only issues short-lived access tokens; the media stream does not go through your Frappe server.
Is there a program instead of the browser?
Yes, as a macOS app. It loads the same interface into its own window and updates itself. Its source lives in a separate repository, so no desktop code ends up on the server.
