What is ERPNext?
ERPNext is an open-source ERP system on the Frappe framework for sales, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, projects and finance. HR is added through the separate Frappe HR app. Costs cover hosting, implementation and support rather than software licences per user.

Not to be confused with
- Frappe is the framework underneath. ERPNext is the application on top of it.

The publicly available ERPNext source code is published under the GNU GPL version 3. This software licence is separate from costs for hosting, setup, customisation and support. The separate Frappe HR application adds human resource management features.
