Follow an item from goods receipt through a transfer to partial delivery and return. Compare physical stock with posted quantities per warehouse. Include a representative batch or serial number for items requiring traceability.
ERPNext Stock Ledger shows posted stock movements; Stock Reconciliation is used to reconcile a stock state. An accurate report requires complete and timely postings. Establish who records a movement and how discrepancies are reviewed.
Data and acceptance criteria
For a shop, scanner or additional WMS, clarify the leading stock source, reservation and failure handling. A shared item master does not prove a ready integration. Test duplicates, partial availability and returns before a channel changes stock automatically.
